In cardiac rehabilitation I was known for spending "too much" time with my patients, getting to know them and listening to their stories. Each day I looked forward to our conversations because they unlocked their challenges, past victories, innate potential and unearthed their motivators and strengths to make change possible. ​

Over the years I noticed desperation in my patients, searching for answers to such questions as, "I'm doing exactly what my doctor says, yet I still had another heart attack. Why?", "My cholesterol and blood pressure are normal. Why did I need another stent?" and "I limited my carbs and added protein to my meal and my blood sugar still shot up. What’s going on?" There had to be a better way.
I later discovered a large body of scientific evidence that demonstrated reversal of our most common chronic diseases, including heart disease and type 2 diabetes. Knowing firsthand that our healthcare system rarely provides patients with this invaluable and lifesaving information, I made it my mission to do just that.
With a master’s degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and over a decade of clinical experience, I took it a few steps further and obtained the certifications, knowledge and skills to empower my heart and diabetic clients to take their health from poor to great. Successful change requires having the best available information on lifestyle “medicines” as well as the behavioral changes to make it possible. I give my clients EVERY tool necessary to make permanent, impactful change. This can be your reality!
